The New Leaders Extreme Tag Match:
Tomoko Kuzumi & Kanako Motoya
vs.
Rieko Amano & Tomoko Miyaguchi
From Battle Station JWP 2/3/99
Taped 1/10 Tokyo Korakuen Hall (1,300/700)

I think they called this match Extreme because they were trying to burn through their spots quicker than even the ECW crew. There wasn't much rhyme or reason to the spots they used, they just did moves with little concept of ordering or timing. The work was strong and they did a lot of nice spots, but it was a stupid match that just takes unnecessary toll on everyone's bodies. For all it's action, the match didn't seem that interesting because they didn't do anything to bring you into the match.

Kana was really good here. She did a suicide dive over the top to the floor then Kuzumi did a springboard tope con hilo. It was good that Kana got the pin on Amano with her fisherman buster because she was the wrestler that needed the win the most because she never, EVER beats any of the veterans. If only she had got this win after beating Cuty the previous month, she might have actually built a little bit of momentum. A good, albeit typically frustrating match.
