Sometimes editing is a good thing, and the first two matches on this show are almost surely examples of when it is. This didn't look good at all, but it was probably better than the opener. In any case, both matches were so unimpressive that they should have just been skipped in favor of more Amano vs. Motoya Miko: The rookies looked like rookies, and Bolshoi didn't look all that sharp at times either.
