Sari Osumi vs. Yoshiko Tamura (Neo)

Tamura looked good here. Although Osumi was decent, Tamura was largely responsibly for this being better than expected. Who knows how good Tamura could be if she had good opposition to work with and was in a promotion that gave her some respect. Tamura used a nadare shiki no doublewrist armsault then her regular doublewrist armsault for the win.

Michael: It seems like every time Yoshiko works against an opponent from another league she's inspired to put on a pretty good match, and usually does. Too bad she's buried in Neo because she could really take off if given the chance. It's not that Yoshiko is lazy in Neo, but she isn't given the chance to shine like she is when she works outside of Neo. JWP would be the perfect home for her. Now that I have caught up on everything, I think Osumi improved less then I had originally thought and this match was good due mostly to Tamura. Had Sari stayed around I don't doubt that she would've continued improving, but this match showed how good Tamura can be when given the opportunity.

Miko: It really is a shame Sari retired, as she was just starting to show her potential. My main quibble would be the ending. Osumi does her round-the-world missile dropkicks and Tamura barely kicks out. It would have made more sense for Tamura to roll out of the way of a diving Osumi than to jump up and catch Osumi on the top and double wrist armsault her off.
