Dynamite Kansai & Tomoko Kuzumi
vs.
Tomoko Miyaguchi & Kanako Motoya

Miyaguchi selected Motoya as her mystery partner, seemingly to replace the injured Hikari Fukuoka. This was a weird match because the wrestling itself was very good, yet I had a hard time getting into the match. The problem was that I couldn't believe that Miyaguchi & Motoya had a chance of winning due to the way Kansai acted. Kansai just steamrolled them when she faced them one on one, and still looked fairly dominant when she was taking on both opponents. She simply didn't allow us to think there was a 1% chance that Miyaguchi or Motoya could pin her. There was one spot where Miyaguchi got a 2 3/4 count on Kansai after her suichoku rakka shiki no brainbuster, but that was the only close call in nearly 20 minutes. The dead crowd didn't exactly make the match come off better than it was. Still, Kuzumi in particular did one great spot after another. The spot that stood out the most to me was actually a Motoya spot though, as she whipped Kuzumi into the corner then did a handstand on the bottom rope into a headscissors.

At one point, Kuzumi blew her springboard plancha, so she immediately did a swandive tope con hilo where she landed right on the guard rail like the loon Sasuke. After seeing Amano carted off, Kuzumi getting injured as well was the last thing we needed to see. Luckily she was okay, so she held the ropes open, allowing Kansai to do a suicida. Kuzumi did perhaps the fastest locomotion German suplex I've ever seen to for a near fall on Motoya. These four did several more nice near falls before Kuzumi pinned Miyaguchi with her Michinoku driver II. The Michinoku driver II is a really cool move, but I don't think Kuzumi is the JWP woman that should win with it because she's not very powerful. She seems to have trouble lifting almost any opposition, and it looks like she could injure someone because she just kind of drops them due to them being too heavy for her.

Miko: This was quite a good match, my favorite match of the card. Everyone worked hard, and they kept a decent pace. Kuzumi reminds me a little of Toyota when she gets caught in a camel clutch, as she's very flexible. Miyaguchi works the stiffest of the Fab Four with her forearms, but she threw a lot of weak ones when they were double teaming Kansai. Still, they might have looked better if Kansai got out of the habit of rolling her head to sell all the strikes to that area.

Kansai seems to have a problem timing the head turn. In addition, the opponents strike would look a lot better if Kansai jerked her head back more. That way, it would look like it was jolted back, which is a lot more realistic than having her simply turn her head to the left or the right like she does now.
